If you value your library and want to volunteer in the community, then you are a natural for membership in the Friends of the Roseville Public Library. Friends help support and enhance the library through programs, gifts, advocacy and fundraising. They meet yearly in May to plan their activities. This year’s Friends Annual Membership Meeting will be Wednesday, May 31 at 7:00 PM in Erin Auditorium.

Friends of the Library Jane Austen Fashion Promenade and Dessert Buffet Fundraiser
Saturday, October 7 at 1:00 PM
Tickets for this Friends of the Roseville Public Library Fundraiser are $25. Cash or check only.
Jane Austen fans will have the opportunity to step back in time as they view a fashion collection from the Regency Era. The “Fashion Promenade” consists of reproductions of seven complete women’s outfits including dresses, hats, undergarments, accessories and jewelry. Presenters will discuss each outfit. The “Dessert Buffet” is a selection of period desserts and tea in buffet form.
Autumn Book Sale
Thursday, October 26 from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Friday, October 27 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Saturday, October 28 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
The Friends need your help in setting up for the Spring Used Book Sale. The most urgent need is for people to bring boxes of books up from the basement using flatbed carts and elevator. The Friends also need assistance in removing books from boxes and putting them on tables and selling books. If you are able to donate a couple of hours of your time, please contact the library. The Friends rely on members to assist with this important fundraiser each Spring and Fall.
Used Book Donations
The library is pleased to accept clean and undamaged newer titles. If we do not put them in our collection, we will give them to the Friends for their twice yearly Used Book Sales. Click here for a flyer for used book donation guidelines.
