Spring Book Sale!
Thursday, April 25 from 12:00 to 7:30 PM
Friday, April 26 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The Friends have two large used book sales each year in the spring and autumn. The revenue from the used book sales is their primary source of income each year and they make generous donations to the Library for materials, equipment and programs. This year the Friends paid for half of the new document/book/photo scanner, multiple copies of book discussion titles, the newsletter and programs.
The Friends need assistance setting up and breaking down the book sale area. On Tuesday, April 23 they need help bringing boxes of books up from the basement using carts and the elevator and sorting books onto tables. On Monday, April 29 they will need help taking unsold books back to the basement. They also need help putting some lawn signs around the City Hall campus advertising the sale. You don’t have to be a member to assist with the sale. Please contact the Library if you have a couple of hours to help. The Friends also need paper grocery bags for their used book sale. They can be dropped off at the library anytime before the sale. Thank you!
