Gifts to the Library
What better way to honor an individual or celebrate a special event in someone’s life than to give a gift in their name to the Library? A gift to the Roseville Public Library keeps on giving. Gifts bring joy and comfort as memorials and on occasions to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, get well wishes, graduations and thanks. They are thoughtful and enduring.
If your donation is a memorial or honorarium for someone special, a letter of acknowledgement is sent to the donor and the individual (or family of the individual) being honored or remembered.

Honorary or Memorial Book Donations
You may choose the type of book (adult, teen or child) and the subject. A bookplate will be inserted in the book listing both the donor and honoree’s names. Typically, a gift of just $25.00 will purchase a book.
General Library Donation
Your donation may be used to purchase programs, equipment, furnishings, artwork or collections of materials. You may choose a specific donation area.
Used Book Donations
The library is pleased to accept clean and undamaged newer titles. If we do not put them in our collection, we will give them to the Friends for their Used Book Sale. Click here for a flyer for used book donation guidelines.

Library Endowment Fund
The Library Commission established the Endowment Fund in 2007. The goal in establishing the Endowment was to provide permanent support for the purchase of extraordinary materials and services that the library would otherwise be unable to afford. The interest earned on the investments will eventually be used for special materials and services. The Library welcomes gifts in any amount to the Endowment Fund. In 2017, the Roseville Public Library Endowment Trust Fund Trustees made the decision to co-mingle local Endowment Trust funds with the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan funds. This will mean more investment opportunities for increasing the value of the Endowment Trust Fund. Checks may be made out to the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan with a note on the check indicating that the donation is for the Roseville Public Library Endowment Trust Fund.
