Drummunity is a fun, high energy, hands on, drum circle, concert experience to be held outdoors on the Civic Center Plaza (rain location Erin Auditorium). Percussion instruments provided, but bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

Kat Orlando Duo Concert

She’s the Queen of Sax in Detroit. The moody, funky, gritty notes that Kat plays on her venerable woodwind instrument have energized the stages of nightclubs and festivals across Detroit for decades. She is a remarkable artist and entertainer. Kat and Larry Pinho span multiple music genres that appeals to a wide range of fans. Bring your own lawn chairs.


NEW! Book Camp

Every kid loves a good story! Our goal is to encourage and improve reading skills during the summer by combining great books with fun programs and activities. Enrollment is limited to 20 students who can commit to all four days. Registration begins Friday, June 1 in person as permission slip must be provided.

Session I: Must have completed Kindergarten or 1st grade
Monday, June 18 – Thursday, June 21
