The Roseville Public Library just completed a large-scale renovation. As we work to reorganize our archival collections, donation of materials is on pause and archives research and reference is limited. Please read the below information about the short-term changes to the Archives while we work to get everything in its new home.

Archival Collections
Yearbooks and city cross-indexes are available by request at the Information Desk. For other items, please contact the Archivist via phone at 586-447-4560 (leave a voicemail), or via email rsvlibraryservice@roseville-mi.gov. Many collection items are still waiting to be unpacked and put in their new homes. Research requests may be delayed as we move everything back into the Archives.

Archives Donations
The renovation is finally complete, but we are not yet accepting any donations, while we are working to move the archival collections to their new home in an organized manner. Please do not drop off any donations at the Library, City Hall or in any of the drop boxes. Only the Archivist may accept donated archival materials. You must speak with the Archivist concerning future donations.
If you would like the Archivist to consider a future donation and contact you to discuss it, please fill out the Donation Consideration Form.
Research
Local History Digital Collection – Montage
There are more than 10,000 historic images, newspapers, historic documents and oral histories that are available in a search through Suburban Library Cooperative’s shared digital archive catalog. This site is accessible online from anywhere.
Erin Township Records Project
The Roseville Public Library maintains the Erin Township Records. This is a database of early Erin Township accounts that are available on microfilm and can be searched by surname.
Roseville Public Library’s microfilm collection is currently in storage. To access copies of the Erin Township Records Project, you may contact the Mount Clemens Public Library, Archives Department. You must speak with Mount Clemens Archives staff to be informed of their access and research processes. You can find more information about them here:
